God abundantly blessings your love, and now he enriches and strengthens you by special sacrament so that you may assume the duties of marriage and mutual and lasting fidelity.

For Rachel and Henry, begin and end with one another. They connect with easy love and trust and laughter. And Rachel, so beautiful, so poised, so confident and so accomplished in her own right. Rachel is Henry’s rock, his best friend, his cornerstone and his one and only soulmate. And he is hers.

As we reflected on 20 years of friendship, we realize that we’ve known Rachel through quite a few different phases of her life. Tonight, we wanted to take some time to stroll down memory lane.

Conventional wisdom would say you’ve got an older brother, you don’t need to look any further for a role model, they’ll nurture you, guide you through life, teach you right from wrong. Well, whoever said that didn’t have Henry as an older brother.

But I want you to know, Rachel, I’m so proud of you, all of your accomplishments and raising you has been the greatest joy of my life.

Henry’s always been an amazing role model for Kelsey and me. While it’s been easy to admire you, Henry, you’ve been a tough act to follow. Your greatest qualities cannot be learned or taught. You truly have a heart of gold, along with an innate ability to build deep, meaningful relationships.

Rachel would not have turned out to be the friend she is and the way she’ll be without her parents. Nancy, you raised an amazing daughter and has served as a true role model to us all. We know Rachel so grateful for her.

Rachel, I don’t think there’s a better person in the world suited for that job than you. You’re beaming smile. Calm demeanor and endless joy are the perfect remedy. I’ve seen Henry through every season of his life thus far and the best version of him, has emerged with you by his side.

Marriage is a joyous occasion. It is connected to our thoughts with the charm of love, the warmth of home and with all that is pleasant. It is one of the most important events of our lives. It’s sacredness and unity is the most significant and binding covenant known to all human relations.

Amy, I just want to start off by saying, I love you today, December 3rd, I fully give you myself a marriage.

Anthony, after all these years, we’re finally here today. You have taught me that great things are worth waiting twelve years for.

Well, friends were gathered here at this hour to witness and to celebrate the coming together of two separate lives. We have come to join, Krystal Rusnak and Christopher Prete in marriage to be with them and rejoice with them in the making of this most important commitment.

Christopher. Ever since I was little, I have dreamed of this day, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t lose hope along the way. There are countless nights where I wondered if I would ever find someone to truly make me feel happy. But then you came along.

To the love of my life, Krystal, I made the biggest decision on my life ever to buy an engagement ring. I knew that in order to afford your dream ring, my dream car had to go. Cars come and go, but you are once in a lifetime opportunity. I am so thankful that you said yes. That moment meant so much to me. I would no longer wonder if I would end up alone. I had finally found the one, you.

Chris, I couldn’t have asked for a better person for my best friend. I’m glad she found someone who was fun, sweet and caring and can actually put up with her and most important, someone that she can grow with and who loves her so much and she loves so much. Christopher, as you and almost everyone in this room know, I’m one of the most indecisive people ever. Luckily, choosing you to be my husband was one of the easiest decisions of my life. And today you’re not only becoming my husband, but my lifelong best friend. Someone that I can have a shoulder to cry on whenever I need and you as well. I will always trust you. As I stand here today in this beautiful venue, staring in the most beautiful eyes, the most beautiful wife, I have to take a moment to reflect. This is the moment we have worked so hard for the start of us the day to become one. You have shown me so much and made me such a better man as I give you this ring and means so much more than just a ring. With it, I give you my heart from this moment, I am yours.

I often think about how amazing of a father you’ll be, you have the most sweet, caring and gentle soul, so I have no doubt that you’ll be the best dad to our children. I love you so much, Christopher, and I cannot wait to see how handsome you look at the end of the aisle. I love you.
