About the couple: Dennis and Jo are both down-to-earth, outdoorsy people. They both love rock climbing and hiking and camping, as well as lying around watching Netflix from time to time. Dennis is very logical and scientific while Jo is very emotional and artistic, so they balance each other out! How they met: We’ll have known each other for four years this November, and have been dating about three and a half years. Dennis and I met at a rock climbing gym in Timonium and were great friends and climbing partners before he asked me out, so we already knew a lot about each other and got along really well. Climbing together built a lot of trust and communication for us both. The proposal: Dennis proposed October 30th 2016 at the top of a rock climb we did in Shenandoah National Park – I climbed up after him and he was down on one knee with a ring!
