Two weeks after they met me, any updates on the pig man, Tracy Caption, I want to marry him, if he asked me today, I’d say yes. He has a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to anyone or animal out there. NOT ONLY did they personally grown, and farm 85% of the food for their wedding. They also planted sunflowers specifically for the photoshoot. – Is that AMMMMAAAAAAZING?Here is an excerpt from Chesapeake bay magazine. As told by Amanda.{ Amanda also wanted to take some of their photographs in a field of sunflowers }“I thought that might be interesting to try because I’d never grown sunflowers before, “ Wes said.“I asked the photographer how many sunflowers we need for the pictures to look good and she pretty much said, “You’re the farmer, you figure it out.” So they planted ten acres.” Too many? Love is the essence of human experience and emotion. It is the root of all. And everything we as humans do, love richens our experience and fills our life with meaning. It gives us a firm base from which to grow, to learn and change. Amanda and Wes, we see their shared passion for agriculture. She mustered up the courage and decided she needed to make the first move, sending him the Facebook message that will surely go down in the history books. “You’re really cute. I like your band” and folks for the first time. We have receipt. I just kept wondering how many more months will this lovey dovey, mushy honeymoon phase actually last? Well, 142 two months later. It’s still going strong. Tim and Carolyn, you guys are a perfect match, the perfect hot and cold, the yin and yang. The Moon to the Sun, the kind of match that without the other, you wouldn’t shine. I can’t begin to tell you how honored I am to stand in front of you two today and that, you know, if you ever need anything, I’m right up the street and I’ll be there. No questions asked. I love you both very much, and I could not be more excited for you today. To Caroline and Tim… to the journey.

For Rachel and Henry, begin and end with one another. They connect with easy love and trust and laughter. And Rachel, so beautiful, so poised, so confident and so accomplished in her own right. Rachel is Henry’s rock, his best friend, his cornerstone and his one and only soulmate. And he is hers. As we reflected on 20 years of friendship, we realize that we’ve known Rachel through quite a few different phases of her life. Tonight, we wanted to take some time to stroll down memory lane. Conventional wisdom would say you’ve got an older brother, you don’t need to look any further for a role model, they’ll nurture you, guide you through life, teach you right from wrong. Well, whoever said that didn’t have Henry as an older brother. But I want you to know, Rachel, I’m so proud of you, all of your accomplishments and raising you has been the greatest joy of my life.
