Josh and Rachael
We are here today to celebrate the marriage of Rachael and Josh as they pledged their love as one. Rachel and Josh decided to center their wedding around their love for each other and to share it with their closest friends and family.
Dear Rachael, the best backhanded compliment I ever received was when I showed everyone in Israel a picture of you. Josh, I didn’t expect your girlfriend to be so beautiful. If they had met you in person. They would have seen how beautiful you are on the inside.
Josh, you make me feel safe and loved. And as we move again and embark on our next journey, it does not matter where we are, but as long as we are together, I will be home with you.
Rachael, you have been with Josh every step of the way through the happy times of college formals, traveling abroad and landing your first jobs and subsequent ones to live with each other.
It’s a great happiness, and it’s pretty rare to find someone who loves you as much as Josh loves Rachel. Anyone here would agree that he would do absolutely anything for her and vice versa.
Take a look at the place you call home. You reflected in all the things that you own. If you ever wonder what your purpose in life is. Take a look at the person you’ve chosen to spend your life with and know that you were put on this earth to make their life better.
Dear Josh, I cannot believe it is finally our wedding day. I did not know it then. But you are about to change my life.
The joy you bring to my life every single day of my life makes me thank God that I have the privilege of calling you my wife for the rest of my days. Your dedication to us brought you to Chicago because you thought it was going to be the best for our future. Your trust in me drives me every day.
I cannot believe that all we have achieved together. And I’m so excited to see what adventure is next for us.
You are my best friend, my favorite person, and my soulmate. I love you. Love your bride, Rachael.
I want every one of those simple moments with you. I want to cook you dinner every night. I want to fall asleep next to you on the couch. I want to walk with you through a park while carrying shudder because her little stumps will probably be tired.
By the power vested in me by the state of Maryland, but primarily by little power of your love for each other. I now pronounce you husband and wife. Josh, you may break the glass and kiss the bride.
